When counted from Moolatrikona sign of each planet , the lords of 2-4-5-8-9-12th houses are friendly planets and the lords of 3-6-7-10-11th houses are enemy planets to the considered planet.

Mercury is present in both friendly and enemy list of sun.Thus mercury is neutral to Sun.
