HOW LORDSHIP OF SIGNS WERE ALLOTTED


The lordship of zodiac signs were allotted based on the orbits of the planets. Sun is at the center of solar system and the planets are revolving around sun in their respective orbits. Mercury is revolving in the first orbit, Venus is in the second orbit, Earth is in third orbit, Mars is in fourth orbit, Jupiter is in fifth orbit, and Saturn is in sixth orbit around sun. When it is seen from sun towards the outer most orbit of Saturn, the planetary sequence appears to be Sun-Mercury-Venus-Earth-Mars-Jupiter-Saturn. Leaving the earth aside, if we arrange the other planets in their sequence, we get Sun-Mercury-Venus-Mars-Jupiter-Saturn. Assuming Leo as centre, the lordship of six sign from Leo to Capricorn is allotted in the sequence of Sun-Mercury-Venus-Mars-Jupiter-Saturn in clockwise direction. Replacing sun with moon in the above sequence of planet and assuming Cancer as centre, the lordship of six signs from Cancer to Aquarius is allotted in the sequence of Moon-Mercury-Venus-Earth-Mars-Jupiter-Saturn in Anti-Clockwise direction.
