One who recites this sloka 108 times continuously for 45 days gets completely cured from cancer. अस्मिन् परात्मन् ननु पाद्मकल्पे त्वमित्थमुत्थापितपद्मयोनि: । अनन्तभूमा मम रोगराशिं निरुन्धि वातालयवास विष्णो ॥ Asmin Paraathman Nanu Paadmakalpe Thvam...

Pamper yourself

You should secretly develop this as a ritual. There is no harm in it.  If you feel like seeing a movie or eating golgappas, and there is no one to accompany you, then do it alone.  You should regularly feed your five senses without fail, i.e., whatever you feel like eating, you should eat, whatever you feel like seeing , hearing or wearing , you should see, hear or wear, and make yourself happy because then only, you will be able to strengthen your mind like diamond! There is no other way to it. For example, you send your car even for tuning or servicing after it has run about 5000kms, isn’t it? So, when are you going to tune up the five senses through which you experience the world? When are you going to upgrade them? And the person who has all his five senses intact is the most attractive one. So, if you are able to strengthen your five senses, then you can render a new experience for others too. And experience only sells, as even you all also purchase experiences.

Offering his obeisance to all-knowing Mahārishi Parāśar and with folded hands, Maitreya said: “O venerable Mahārishi, Jyotish, the supreme limb of the Vedas, has three divisions, viz. Horā, Ganita and Samhita. Among the said three divisions Horā, or the general part of Jyotish is still more excellent. I desire  to know of its glorious aspects  from  you. Be pleased to tell me, how this Universe is created?  How does it end?  What is the relationship of the animals, born on this earth, with the heavenly bodies?  Please speak elaborately” 5-8. Mahārishi  Parāśar answered. O...
